Tina Wang is a multi-instrumentalist and a sought out music instructor based in Vancouver, BC.  Recognized as a 'Teacher of Distinction by the Royal Conservatory of Music in 2018, Tina is passionate and dedicated to music teaching, performing, accompaniment and the art of chamber music. 

Tina believes strongly in the importance of diversity of music genres and can be found involved in different music projects around Vancouver, ranging from classical to modern, popular and anime music on the saxophone and piano.  She is currently actively playing with the Pacific Symphonic Wind Ensemble and involved in other projects.

Tina is a Silverstein Artist-EducatorKey Leave Artist and member of the North American Saxophone Alliance. She is also a board member of the BC Registered Music Teachers Association (Richmond) and Canadian Music Competition (BC Chapter). 

Tina is on the faculty at the Vancouver Academy of Music (VAM) and also at her saxophone studio, Phoenix Music Academy.  Her studio features many students who placed in music festivals, BCMEA honour band, the Canada Wind Band and National Youth band of Canada as well as students furthering music studies in various U.S. universities with prestigious saxophone programs. Tina's teachings draw inspirations and influences from many of the professional music educators she studied with over the years.

​Tina holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the UBC School of music and an Artist Diploma from the Vancouver Academy of Music.
